Amber Mitchell is a strategic operations and financial leader with more than 25 years of experience across dental and hospitality organizations. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for bringing clarity to complex operations, strengthening leadership teams, and helping organizations grow in a sustainable and disciplined way.
Most recently, Amber served as Practice Manager for a multi-location oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in the Twin Cities. During her tenure, she helped scale the organization from four offices generating approximately $6 million in annual revenue to seven locations producing more than $14 million. In that role, she oversaw accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, HR infrastructure, credentialing, and operational systems while partnering closely with physician leadership to support strategic growth.
Amber’s leadership philosophy is rooted in financial clarity, operational discipline, and strong accountability systems. She believes that when practices understand their numbers and align their teams around clear expectations, performance improves and stress decreases for both owners and staff.
Her background in hospitality leadership earlier in her career also shapes her approach to consulting. She believes exceptional patient experience and strong team culture are foundational to successful healthcare organizations.
Through Anchor Dental Consulting, Amber partners directly with practice owners and leadership teams to improve profitability, streamline operations, and create systems that support long-term growth.

Amber lives in Minnesota and has spent the majority of her career working alongside healthcare professionals to build organizations that balance clinical excellence with operational strength.
She enjoys working closely with leadership teams, solving operational challenges, and helping practices create environments where both patients and staff feel valued.
Outside of her professional work, Amber values time with family and friends, continuing education, and staying connected to the dental and healthcare communities she has been part of for over two decades. She is married with a son who loves hockey, 2 cats and a bernedoodle. She can be found at one of the many sporting events of her child, boating on the river, at yoga or reading.
